Nimiq 2 is a high power Ku/Ka-band satellites, featuring 32 active 24 MHz Ku-band transponders with 120 Watt power amplifiers, and a Ka-band payload that will provide broadband services.
Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center is a Moscow-based producer of spacecraft and space-launch systems, including the Proton and Rokot rockets and is currently developing the Angara rocket family.
